Someone actually asked Will Smith about Alex’s nonexistent scenes in Hitch. And Will Smith actually answered. 

A few years ago you did “Hitch,” where Alexander Skarsgard had a role that was cut away. Comment?

- It had nothing to do with his talent. He was very good. But when he recorded his scenes, we had not received a proper structure of the film yet, and finally we had to remove his scenes. It’s great that things are going so well for him now.
